Ginko leaves with white stephanotis mixed media art

This mixed media piece features hand-sculpted ginkgo leaves paired with delicate white stephanotis flowers and a small butterfly, crafted from polymer clay and sealed in clear resin, set on a natural hardwood base painted white with a gold edge. Hardware is included for easy wall hanging.

Susan Hamilton is a self taught multimedia artist who lives in North Carolina.  Susan recently began experimenting with Polymer Clay.  Cuttings from her garden inspire the clay flowers which she forms one petal at a time, mounting them on wood and covering them in liquid resin to provide the beauty of an everlasting indoor garden.
